New Poem - "Need Undoing"

Don't want to reduce this to verbalization
But you're too delicately beautiful for me to use force
You're too delicately kind to be looking my way

I might walk for miles to catch another glimpse
Or just behind you less than an inch
As you wipe a cloth along glass so you can see through it
I hope that I'm opaque enough for you to do that
I've plenty of cobwebs that need removing
Plenty of ties that need undoing

But no one to mend all these rips:
Me (from) me and (you) Like (from) like more
"Can we meet again?" (from) "need to see your eyes if only for a second"
"Meet me tonight for dinner" (from)



"meet me in the courthouse tonight"
